With deep roots in Ethiopia’s legendary coffee-growing regions, we specialize in sourcing, grading, processing, and exporting premium coffee beans ranging from 1st class to 4th class, in both washed and natural (unwashed) forms.

About Founder

Mr. Bacha Lencha, the founder of Beiya Trading PLC, is an accomplished Ethiopian coffee professional with a strong academic and technical background in agriculture and coffee quality. Born in Lalo Asabi, West Wollega, he completed his early education in Imago Kobera and Gimbi Comprehensive Secondary School before earning a BSc in Crop Production and Protection from Haramaya University. Driven by a passion for agricultural development and the coffee value chain, he later advanced his expertise with an MSc in Agricultural Economics from Ambo University, equipping him with both scientific and economic insights into Ethiopia’s most valuable export commodity.

Over the past decade, Mr. Bacha has built a distinguished career across multiple reputable institutions in Ethiopia’s coffee sector. His professional journey includes serving as a Coffee Production and Quality Expert in the Agricultural and Rural Development Office, working as an Agronomist in Girma Dhina Coffee Plantation, and teaching at Bako ATVEAT College. He further advanced into the heart of Ethiopia’s coffee grading and export ecosystem, serving as a Cupper and Quality Controller at the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX). Later, he held senior roles in major export companies, including Senior Coffee Quality Controller at Kerchanshe Trading PLC and Coffee Quality Manager at Guji Coffee Export PLC, where he managed quality operations, sourcing, logistics, cupping, and international buyer relations.

With this extensive technical, managerial, and market experience, Mr. Bacha established Beiya Trading PLC, a company dedicated to supplying premium Ethiopian coffee to the international market. His deep understanding of coffee production, processing, grading, and export logistics positions him as a trusted figure among global buyers seeking authentic, traceable, and high-quality Ethiopian coffee. Fluent in English, Afan Oromo, and Amharic, and certified as a Q Arabica Coffee Grader, Mr. Bacha leads Beiya Trading PLC with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to elevating Ethiopia’s coffee presence on the world stage.
